Spend The Night – (Top of The Pops)
This was the bands first appearance on the legendary weekly music TV show, ‘Top Of The Pops’ This stunning performance elevated them to number 11. The Cool-Notes performance on Top of The Pops was in March 1985.
In Your Car – (Top of The Pops)
This was the bands second appearance on the legendary iconic music TV show. Once again after another amazing performance the Cool-Notes shot to number 13 in the UK top 40 charts. This Top of The Pops aired in May 1985.
In Your Car – (Terry Wogan)
During the 80’s The Terry Wogan Chat show became one of the most popular and prestigious shows on British TV. It ran from 1981 until 1992. Appearing on the show in 1985 was one of the highlights in the bands career.

Ian, Steve, Lauraine & Heather being interviewed by Tommy Boyd on the popular children’s Saturday morning show Wide Awake Club. Other presenters were Timmy Mallett and Michaela Strachan. The show ran for 2 hours, 7.30am – 9.25am. as part of ITV’s breakfast franchise TV-am, between 1984 and 1989.

The South London band, The Cool-Notes performing Spend The Night, their biggest hit to date. In 1985 they appeared on the popular music UK TV show ‘Soul Train’
In Your Car – (Soul Train)
The Cool-Notes when they performed on the UK version of the huge American hit TV Music Show, “Soul Train”.
This performance took place in July 1985.
Girls Night Out – (Solid Soul)
Lauraine McIntosh & Heather Haywood of the Cool-Notes had a girls night out without the boys performing on the popular soul TV show ‘Solid Soul’ in 1986.
House Of Love (World Dance)
The Cool-Notes performing Live on TV at the finals of the World Dance Championships in 1988 at the Hippodrome in London.
Just Don’t Wanna Be Lonely
In 1987 The ‘Cool – Chicks’ went back to their roots when they were invited to sing the backing vocals for Freddie McGregor’s huge hit, ‘Just don’t wanna be lonely’ on Top of the Pops which got to number 9 in the UK charts.
Spend The Night – (Peter’s Pop Show)
One of the Cool-Note’s Fav T.V. shows in Germany called Peter’s Pop show which had a massive audience in it’s day. This was aired originally in 1985.
All At Once – (Peter’s Pop Show)
One of the most memorable moments in the Cool-Notes career was meeting and singing alongside Whitney Houston during the grand finale of Peter’s Pop show in Germany in 1985.
